The Redland performance in the Avon Under 10s first tournament of the season started off a bit shakily, with a 0-4 loss against a sharp looking North Somerset team, despite some fine diving saves from Tom.

But, the next game against Keynsham was a different story. Redland Juniors had all the attack, had two goals disallowed and at least eight short corners, which they were unlucky not to convert. Final score 0-0.

In the final game against Firebrands, goals came from Lyra, Lily and Phoebe to secure a 3-0 win. The midfield and frontline attack of Lily, Lyra, Phoebe and Daisy worked well with excellent support from defenders Betsy, Nuala and Charlotte and goalkeeper Tom, who together kept a clean sheet after the first game.
