We had a difficult start when a few of the team were caught up in traffic jams so, with very little warm up and preparation, we went into our first game against City of Bath a little apprehensively. We fought hard and created a few opportunities, but failed to find the goal. Despite some good defending from Jake we conceded a goal late in the game to lose 0-1.

Our second match against Nailsea was a much better game for us with a dominating performance from our midfield. We created lots of chances but failed to put the ball away until late in the game when we finally found the goal following a good passing move between Theo, Gus and Phoebe. The final score was 1-0.

We played Corsham next and again held our own against a team of a similar standard. Once again we created chances and Emily went close on a couple of occasions. Gus also had a chance to score but shot wide of the goal. Eventually we managed to find the goal through a rebound by Dani to make the score 1-0, which is how we finished the game.

Our last game against Firebrands was hard work. They were skilful and we had tired, so we defended most of the game. Again Jake made some good tackles and Tom played well in goal, making some good saves. Our marking let us down and we were beaten twice from some good Firebrands attacks. The final score was 0-2.

Overall a good performance by the team who worked really hard for each other.
