What a season for the 3s – league winners!
19 March 2022: Redland 3s had a successful end to their league season, securing promotion to Berkeley Division 1 with a 7-1 win. Redland’s haul came from Macy (3), Meghan (2), and singles from Jess and Issy.
A convincing result for the team to celebrate their promotion and the fact they didn’t drop a point all season – played 18, won 18, achieving the maximum tally of 54 points.
Top scorer is Macy, with an amazing 21 goals, followed by Carolina with 14. But credit goes to the whole squad over the season who showed great strength and tenacity in each game. The relentless forwards, the midfield drivers and the solid defence – deserving winners, every player in the squad.
