Welcoming Verde as new sponsor
20 May 2024: We’re delighted to welcome artificial sports pitch construction specialists Verde, as a new sponsor.
Redland Club President Cath Coombs says: “Verde is the company that designed and built the superb new pitch at Lockleaze Sports Centre, which we now call home, and it’s great that they’re also supporting our club by sponsoring us.”
“We started using the new facility last November and we’ve had fantastic feedback from our teams and visitors about its playability.”
Verde Director Jonathan Bland says: “With our headquarters in Bristol, we’re keen to support local sport and to build facilities which provide excellent spaces to play.”
“The new pitch at Lockleaze is FIH certified and uses the latest technology in elite sports surfaces, so we’re pleased to hear that players are enjoying using it.”
Redland Hockey now plays all their home games on the blue pitch. Even though the winter season is over, the club will be holding summer sessions for Under 14s starting this July and also some Adult Back to Hockey sessions in August, before the new season starts.
