Ultra marathoner, ultra fundraiser
November 2025: Congratulations and thanks to our player Emma, who completed her first ultra marathon while raising funds for the club at the same time. Emma says: “When I crossed the finish line, I was in disbelief that I had just done my first ultra marathon! I was told I’d never play hockey or run again in 2017 and I’d only covered 25km once, exactly one year prior. I think next time I take on a challenge like this though, I won’t play two hockey matches the day before & I’ll only order pizza after if someone’s willing to tackle the stairs for me.”
