U16s play touring side from Argentina
29 April 2026: Redland U16s displayed a fantastic level of hockey when they took on a touring side from Buenos Aires. The high intensity game was an end-to-end affair with both teams displaying great skill and commitment. Redland took the lead with a penalty corner shot from Yasmin and it was deep into the second half that the visitors managed to claw back an equaliser. End result – a fair 1-1 draw, which reflected the energy that both teams brought to the pitch. The Argentinian side, representing Grilli Canning College, brought a bus load of supporters but the Redland girls rose to the occasion, showing plenty of determination against a strong opposition. Great way to end the season.
