Junior JRPC Selections for Redland UWE Girls - Summer 2012

Umpiring Course
ACWHUA will be holding the next Level 1 umpire course on Sunday 20th May 9.30am to 4.00pm at the UWE, Frenchay campus. Places will be reserved on a first come, first served basis and will be restricted to a maximum of 30 candidates the cost of the course will be £45 per candidate, however this will be discounted to £25 for any candidate still in full time education.
The Sunday will cover the theory and the theory exam, which, provided they are successful in the exam, will make them eligible to umpire league matches, as per regulation 8.a.ii of the league handbook. They then have a 24 month period to complete their 3 practise matches and undergo their assessment match, wherever possible the Association will offer practical coaching during this period.
This is an ideal time to start the level 1 accreditation because candidates can then get their practise in during the summer league and stand a chance of being fully qualified by the start of the season. ACWHUA will also be offering candidates coaching and possibly assessment during the summer league we organise at Coombe Dingle.

Summer League 2012
Redland UWE Ladies will be entering 2 teams for this forthcoming Summer Hockey League. Matches are held on Monday and Thursday Evenings from 10th May to 23rd July at 7pm or 8:15pm. Matches are 30 mins each way. Click on the boxes below for more information....
