Medals for Under 12s at Avon tournament
10 March 2024: Redland U12s played in the Avon Junior League Tournament on Sunday and were in a group of four. They drew 1-1 with City of Bath but lost to Westbury 0-4 and Yate 0-4 which put us in third place in the group.
They then played out a very tense 1-1 draw in the knock out phase of the Plate competition with South Glos which went to shuffles which we won 2-1 – good job we practised shuffles at training!
We were then in the semi final of the Plate against North Somerset which we narrowly lost 0-1 putting us into the 3rd/4th playoff against Bristol and West which we won 2-0. So we were bronze medalists in the competition.
