Wereys through to next round of EH O45s Cup
30 October 2022: Redland Wereys opened their Over 45s EH Masters Cup campaign in style with a 1-0 victory over local rivals Team Bath Buccaneers Over 45s. The Wereys started strongly and dominated the game. It took just nine minutes to get on the score sheet through Nicky Klinkenberg on her Wereys debut.
Despite comprehensive possession, some superb linking and attacking play, and several penalty corners, Wereys just couldn’t add to their goal tally. It was a great performance all round with a few new faces joining and strengthening this year’s squad. We all now eagerly await the draw for round two which will be played on Sunday 20 November.
