Wereys O55s start Cup campaign with 6-1 win
19 February 2023: Redland Wereys O55s kicked off their 2023 Cup campaign with a 6-1 win over regional rivals Bretforton. Current cup holders the Wereys O55s travelled up the M5 and secured their win with goals from Mandy (2), Jo, Cath, Mitch and Fi.
Both teams played flowing competitive hockey but the Wereys emerged as the stronger side, going up 3-0 by half time and 6-1 winners by the final whistle. Next round will be played on 19th March 2023, opposition to be confirmed.
